What do The Dodos think they’re doing? Kicking up a stink with the cardie-brigade, that’s what. And more power to them, as this folksy misdemeanour finds them performing a rough-and-ready assault on acoustic guitar, complete with raucous shrieks and clattering percussion. ‘Fools’ may be stripped down to the bare essentials, but it sounds just as electric as its amped-up counterparts – and that, my friends, is no mean feat.
