The Hold Steady postpone UK tour

Guitarist Tad Kubler has been taken ill

The Hold Steady have postponed their UK entire tour, which was due to start at Oxford Academy tonight (September 29).

The decision was made after guitarist Tad Kubler was diagnosed with pancreatitis. The band plan to reschedule the cancelled dates.

The band were due to play the following dates:

Oxford Academy (September 29)
Manchester Academy (30)
Glasgow ABC (October 1)
Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall (2)
Bristol Anson Rooms (4)
Nottingham Rock City (5)
Portsmouth Pyramids (6)
London Roundhouse (8)


Fans with tickets to tonight's gig in Oxford are advised to contact the venue's box office.

i hope they are ok, with their incredible work ethic i know it would take something major to cancel one show, never mind a whole tour
