Band to play in Leeds and Sheffield to see 2009 in

The Courteeners are set to play two live shows to see in the New Year - one in Leeds before the bells (December 31) and one in Sheffield after midnight.

Liam Fray and his gang are set to play at the Leeds Academy at 10:30pm (GMT), before they head to the Sheffield Academy to play their first gig of 2009 - at half-past midnight.
