Oasis, Metallica tickets on sale today (October 24)

Your chance to see two big bands on two big tours

A ticket rush is expected today as both Oasis and Metallica put their tours on sale today (October 24).

First up are the metallers, with tickets for their February dates available from 9am (BST).

Metallica will play:

Nottingham Trent FM Arena (February 25)
Manchester Evening News Arena (26)
Sheffield Arena (28)
London 02 Arena (March 2)
Newcastle Metro Radio Arena (3)
Birmingham LG Arena (25)
Glasgow SECC (26)

Then it's Oasis's summer 2009 stadium tour which is expected to create high demand, with both Kasabian and The Enemy (and The Prodigy for the Slane Castle date) also along for the ride.

Oasis tickets go on sale at 10am for the following dates:

Manchester Heaton Park (June 6, 7)
Sunderland Stadium Of Light (10)
Cardiff Millennium Stadium (12)
Edinburgh Murrayfield Stadium (17)
Dublin Slane Castle (20)
London Wembley Stadium (July 11, 12)

........Oasis gigs sold out in minutes...not bad for what most NME commentors call "now an irrelevant band"....and i didn't get a ticket and i'm only 20 miles away...you lucky bastards...
