Keane, Stereophonics and The Fratellis will also play the Union Chapel

The first batch of artists playing Mencap's Little Noise Sessions this November has been announced.

The gigs, which take place at Islington's Union Chapel venue in north London between November 8 and 18, will see the likes of Glasvegas, Razorlight, Stereophonics and Kasabian playing acoustic sets to an intimate crowd.

In previous years, Noel Gallagher and a stripped-down version of U2, featuring Bono and The Edge, have performed at the Sessions.

The line-up so far for Mencap's Little Noise Sessions is:

Glasvegas, Cage the Elephant (November 8)
Razorlight, Florence and the Machine, Esser (9)
Stereophonics, Seasick Steve (10)
James Morrison, Sam Beeton (13)
Kasabian (14)
Keane, The Script, Bryn Christopher, Red Light Company (15)
The Fratellis (18)

Fans wanting to buy tickets need to register on Mencapmusic.org.uk between October 1 and 16. All proceeds from ticket sales go to Mencap.

Good on these bands for doing this. Granted I'd normally slate most of them, 'cos I'm that type of guy, but it's a good cause so I'm keeping quiet.
