Band shift around 85,000 tickets this morning (Nov 14)

Kings Of Leon sold around 85,000 tickets for their summer UK arena shows this morning (November 14).

The band put on sale dates next June at huge venues in London and Manchester.

Within four minutes all the tickets for the band's June 15 show at London's O2 Arena were snapped up, while a second night on June 16 also sold out almost immediately.

Tickets for the Manchester Arena on June 22 were also snapped up.

That is around 50,000 tickets in total in London and 35,000 in Manchester so far.

Extra dates at both venues are now on sale with Kings Of Leon playing the O2 Arena on June 30 and Manchester Arena on June 23.

I can't believe they didn't just do a couple of nights at Wembley Stadium rather than repeat what they are doing in December
