Garbage singer Shirley Manson has appeared as a T-1000 liquid Terminator robot who morphs into a urinal in the US TV series 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles'.

The episode in which the singer appears was broadcast on Fox TV on Monday night (September 8). Watch her performance by clicking on the video below.

In the clip Manson plays a robot who takes the form of a character named Catherine Weaver, before morphing into a urinal and killing another character by sticking a finger spike through his head.

As well as her acting career, Shirley Manson is set to pursue a career as a solo musician.

She has so far written songs with the likes of Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan and The White Stripes' Jack White.
