The most purely dance music-orientated project of the three major New Order spin-offs, the Other Two features arguably the least attention-seeking members of the Manchester quartet: Stephen Morris (b. 28 October 1957, Macclesfield, Cheshire, England) and Gillian Gilbert (b. 27 January 1961, Macclesfield, Cheshire, England). Recording at their own studio in rural Macclesfield, they debuted on the charts with the Factory Records single "Tasty Fish" in 1991. The follow-up, "Selfish", came out two years later on London Records, and featured fashionable remixes by both Moby and Farley And Heller. The Other Two also tampered with the work of other artists, as well as earning several credits for television and soundtrack motifs. Their two albums to date have been melodic if somewhat faceless electronic pop collections.
